Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how EchoTake ("EchoTake," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase credits, upload media, provide a social-media link, or generate a video.
It applies to the EchoTake web service and related support communications. It does not govern third-party websites, platforms, or services that have their own privacy practices.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, account status, and credit balance.
- Content and generation inputs. Portraits, images, videos, prompts, public social-media URLs, extracted video metadata, and the videos generated through the service.
- Transaction information. The credit package purchased, amount, currency, order identifier, payment status, and recharge or consumption records. Payment providers process your payment credentials; we do not need to store your full card number.
- Technical and usage information. IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages or features used, request logs, error data, and security events.
- Communications. Information you include when you contact us for support, privacy requests, or other questions.
How we use information
We use information to:
- authenticate users and maintain account sessions;
- analyze a submitted reference, upload content, calculate generation costs, and create requested videos;
- process credit purchases, maintain balances, and provide transaction history;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, non-consensual impersonation, and other prohibited activity;
- respond to support requests and important service communications; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
Where applicable, we rely on performance of our contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing EchoTake, and compliance with legal obligations.
Content and AI processing
To provide a generation you request, we process your portrait, reference video or link, prompt, output settings, and generated result. These materials may be transmitted to infrastructure, storage, extraction, and AI-generation providers acting on our behalf.
Do not upload sensitive content or media you do not have permission to use. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from people shown or heard in submitted media.
We do not claim ownership of your submitted content. We use it as described in this policy and the Terms of Service to operate, protect, and support the service.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and operational need.
Account and transaction records may be kept longer than uploaded media where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before deletion through normal rotation.
Security and international transfers
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your account and devices secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
EchoTake and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request.

Children
EchoTake is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as EchoTake changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.
